My journey with hair loss is deeply personal, which is why I genuinely understand the emotional impact that losing your hair can have on confidence and identity.
Several years ago, I underwent chemotherapy treatment for cancer. The treatment was intense and physically demanding, and while I had already been experiencing thinning hair prior to this, chemotherapy accelerated that loss dramatically. Losing my hair affected far more than just my appearance — it affected how I felt about myself.
Like many men, I explored different options. I initially turned to Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), which gave me confidence again for a number of years. I enjoyed the shaved look for a time, but eventually realised it still wasn’t the same as having real hair and the ability to style it naturally.
As I continued my own journey, I began experimenting with hair systems and visiting different providers. At first, I was amazed by the transformation and the reactions from friends and people around me. But over time, I became increasingly aware that many systems available locally lacked the realism, quality and modern styling I was looking for.
